I think everybody has heard about the health benefits of green tea. It has antioxidants, improves blood flow, prevents a heart-related issues, keeps blood sugar and cholesterol low and helps with weight loss. I try to drink at least one cup a day but in the summer I don’t feel like drinking hot drinks and that is how I thought of that recipe for delicious cold, sparkling, fresh drink.
I started by brewing green tea twice as strong as I normally would. I added a tablespoon of honey and waited a few minutes until it is room temperature.
I poured tea over ice, added juice from half a lemon and topped with a little bit of sparkling water and added some fresh lemon slices on top.

- 1 cup of strong green tea
- juice from 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 cup of sparkling water
- 1 tablespoons of honey
- lemon slices
- Make green tea twice as strong as you usually would.
- Pour tea over ice, add lemon juice, sparkling water and top with lemon slices.
