Ham pickle roll ups

Ham pickle roll ups are another (after simple stuffed eggs) solid appetizer making on the website. There’e no baking or cooking involved. Ham pickle roll ups are fast and delicious meal that doesn’t require a crazy long list of ingredients. They can be cut in little bite size pieces so they’re a crowd satisfying snack.

Any ham will do but it needs to have big slices. I usually use black forest ham that works perfectly with delicate flavor of cream cheese.


I started with mixing cream cheese, mayo, sour cream, parsley, salt and pepper together.


I placed about a tablespoon of cream on each slice of ham and rolled it. Some people put pickles inside of the roll. I like to stick it on a toothpick and stick it on the outside. I think it looks better and it’s easier to grab it if the toothpick is in.


And that’s what it looks like when it’s done. Ham, cream cheese and pickles go great together.

  • 1 lb of black forest ham
  • 1 (8oz) box of cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup of fresh parsley
  • 5 tablespoons of sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons of mayo
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 5-8 pickles


  1. Mix cream cheese, mayo, sour cream, salt and pepper together.
  2. Place a tablespoon of cream cheese mix on each slice of the ham and roll it.
  3. Cut pickles in smaller pieces, place it on each ham roll and secure with a toothpick.
