Pears wrapped in bacon are an amazing, sweet and savory appetizer. The best part is that this recipe is 2 ingredients only and crazy easy to make, there’s virtually no preparation, you just wrap them, bake them and you’re done 🙂 Baked pears are so sweet and juicy and a perfect companion for crunchy bacon. They are a great party appetizer or a low-carb, paleo, quick snack.
I almost didn’t post this recipe because it’s so embarrassingly easy but then I figured that’s kind of the beauty of the whole thing. I tried to make it fancier by adding blue cheese, feta cheese, spices, herbs but I think plain pears with bacon have plenty flavor on their own and to me they taste the best like that.
I started with quartering 2 pears and removing the seeds. I left the skin on.
I wrapped each pear quarter with a slice of bacon and placed them on a baking rack.
Then I baked them at 350 F until bacon was golden and crunchy. And that’s it! They taste delicious fresh from the oven, warm with delicious crispy bacon.

- 2 pears
- 8 slices of bacon
- Quarter 2 pears and remove the seeds but leave the skin on.
- Wrap each pear quarter with bacon.
- Bake pears wrapped in bacon at 350 F until bacon is done and crispy, about 25 minutes.
